Cristiano Ronaldo: Chelsea strongest team in Premier League

Former Manchester United hero Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Chelsea have been the best team in the Premier League so far this season.
The Portuguese winger spent six years with the Red Devils before swapping Old Trafford for the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2009 for a then-record transfer fee.
During his time in Manchester, he won three Premier League titles, with United’s Sunday opponents Chelsea winning two and Arsenal claiming the other in his debut season in England.
Asked whether United can win the title this season, Real Madrid star Ronaldo spoke fondly of his former club but admitted they face a tough ask in overhauling the Blues as a result of their fabulous start to the campaign.
“You can never write off Manchester United. It is only the beginning but it will be tough for United to win the title this year I think because they are already too many points behind Chelsea in my opinion,” he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
“Chelsea are a little bit stronger than all the other teams this year. But of course in the Premier League over a season you never know what can happen. That period near Christmas is really tough and you can easily drop points because there are a lot of games in a really short space of time.
“Chelsea have made a great start and they can be champions. I hope Manchester United can come again at the top of the league.
"At the moment they are many points behind Chelsea and have had some disappointing results at the start of the season. But let's see what happens it is an exciting league and anything can happen.”
Jose Mourinho's side sit clear at the top of table after winning seven of their first eight league games this campaign. Their only dropped points to date came in the 1-1 draw away at reigning champions Manchester City, a result which the Blues will look upon favourably despite former player Frank Lampard grabbing a late equaliser for the hosts.
What do you make of Ronaldo's comments - are Chelsea the team to beat?
